As some of you know my brother got called to serve his mission in Anahiem, California back in...I think it was i think... JULY?? Yeah! Well, my family and I finally took him to the MTC on WEDNESDAY! He was so excited and has BEEN excited to go on his mission. He's really come a LONG WAY and has always planned to serve a mission. He's just been a blessing to our family and I'm so proud of him! Over the years we haven't been on the "same page"/ close like he is with my other siblings but at the end of the day he's MY BROTHER and I love him regardless! He's been a great example to all of us! He is also the 2nd grandson that is serving in the mission field in our family. 

He got set a part as a Missionary Tuesday night and sitting in that room while he was getting set a part the spirit was STRONG and he was so happy! He bore his testimony to our family that was there and you could tell he was so ready to go and serve the lord FULL OF ENERGY!

Wednesday we all got up early and started our drive to Provo and ate at Golden Corral as his "last meal" with us. My family went, along with Muka's girlfriend/best friend and her sisters, and Muka's two close friends A.j. and Izzy. All of us "kids" were there but my brother Robert who lives in Arkansas. He was so sad he couldn't make it but we all know he was there in spirit.

Time was just so PRECIOUS for all of us and before we all knew it the time came to finally say our goodbyes :( 

 It was really weird because everyone was crying BUT ME! Well, out of the girls at least. I guess it just hasn't "hit me" that he's really gone but I just knew in my head that he'd be so great out there and that time would go by fast for him and for all of US! I'm just so happy and excited for him! :) I know our heavenly father will continue to bless him on his mission and our family. I'm so blessed to have my family and especially to have been blessed with such wonderful, loving, and caring parents that have raised us to be who we are. I love each and everyone of my siblings to pieces and I would do anything for them!!! Our family is truly blessed!!

God first, famili forever, and nothing else matters!!

She's a MONSTER...She's the ONE...thee ONLY...She's a HAND FULL...She's...**SHAWNEE-LESLIE KANANI ASIATA**

...:THE BIGG 3:...

Soooooooo....When Tangi and Matt found out they were expecting with Shawnee they DIDN'T find out what they were having and so she was a... "SURPRISE BABY"! We all thought it was going to a BOY! So, they were kinda set on naming her (if she was a BOY)...SHAWN! Shawn is Matt's brother. Anyways- So, when shawnee FINALLY ARRIVED and we found out it was A GIRL! EVERTHING CHANGED! It was kinda funny but it was ment to be :) My mom and I were in the room when my sister was giving birth and I was just great to be with her! When she was finally out my sister asked me what I wanted to name her! All I said was..."I don't know. It's up to you!" I was just put on the spot and I didn't have no names! gz! c'mon now??? I don't know but maybe it was the drugs they gave her but yeah she was asking me! haha! At the time Matt was playing at the U and was at a AWAY GAME so of course Tangi wanted to wait til he got home to actually name her! So, since we were all so set on her being a boy and with Matt wanting to name her after Shawn they came up with Shawn's "nickname" which was... Shawnee! :) It was such a cute name for her! Then my sister for another name! So I said Leslie....FOR ME OF COURSE! ;) LOL! My sister add it and it came out as Shawnee-Leslie and we stuck a middle name in there for my mom' best friend that died of cancer and her name is Candance Kanani. She was named.....***SHAWNEE-LESLIE KANANI ASAIATA*** :) 

When I first held her I WAS SO ATTACHED TO HER! I loved everything about her! :) From her LONG eyelashes, her little legs, her little fingers, her little fingers and toes, EVERYTHING! She's such a blessing in our family and her little family or our family wouldn't be the same without her! :) Every time I get to see her it's like a PARTY with us! when I wrap her in my arms she holds me tight and she makes me SO HAPPY!! :) My family "says" she's just like ME and acts how I WAS when I was younger! She has her days and can be such a "TON-BOY" just like I was! what can I say??? She IS a "LESLIE"..haha!

She turned 3 on the 10th and she wanted to go to Hollywood Connections (HER FAV!)! She had a blast!  She's growing so fast and she has EVERYONE wrapped around her little fingers! She's the best and OUR.....SHAWNEE-LESLIE!

Time...where does it all go???

Today I'm sitting at work just thinking about how Summer Time is about to be GONE and how much I'll miss it over the Winter!!! ugh!!! So I found some of my Summer pictures I left hanging in my flash drive and wanted to share!!!.

Happy Birthday EMZ... :)

A couple months ago it was EMZ (Early Morning Zumba)'s Birthday and I think they made their ONE YEAR!!! :) Fili's Aunt/2nd mom is SOOOOOO INTO IT and got certified and started teaching her own classes in West Valley and Glendale. I feel so bad because I always wanted to TRY Zumba but NEVER got the guts to do it because I guess I just had the "I'm too cool" attitude and always felt embarrassed to be "shaking my tail feather" in a room FULL OF OTHER POLY WOMAN!!! haha....OMG...I know I'm lame!!! ;) But I want to go NOW because Betsy teaches and she's loss a lot of weight and she looooooks AMAZING!!! :) One day One day I'll be at Zumba Bets NO WORRIES ;)  Keep up the good work!!! :)
